I just ran across this link from a BitPim forum message,
http://rumkin.com/tools/sprint/index.php .

Anyone used it yet?

Bob,

I have used that site on several occasions to send ringtones from my
computer to my Sanyo 8200.
It worked fine with my phone.

Thanks for the feedback Michael. I just wanted some feedback, and to make
sure that site wasn't culling phone numbers (even though they say they
don't).

Yes. I use it for vision uploads - I create my own ringtones and graphics and,
since I am a Java programmer, I've also used it to upload Java2 Mobile Edition
apps to my phone and test them.

Works well. Has a couple minor limitations, but if you have access to a web
server you can put the files up and download them directly to your phone (ask
me if you need details - I've done it)

<shamelessplug>

www.SprintDevelopers.com also has an upload tool for sending
applications, ringtones, and graphics to Sprint PCS phones. In
addition, you'll find other tools and articles to help you create your
own content.
