I just purchased a Desknote A929 from newegg.com. Upon receiving it and my hard drive and cpu, I put it all together. I pushed the power buton and all seemed well...until I looked at the LCD. To my dismay, it was still blank. Nothing comes up at all on it. The fans spin and all the LEDs blink at one point. The power and resume LEDs stay lit and green the whole time it has power going to it. The hard drive LED stays on for about 2 seconds then goes off, then the caps, scroll, and num lock LEDs all blink in unison once. Then after that, the hard drive light and the other 3 LEDs(in unison) take turns blinking every few seconds. To me it almost seems like it's rebooting. I tried booting w/o the CPU in it and the resume/standby light didn't come on. So i'm thinking I have the cpu in right. If I take the hard drive out, the other 3 LEDs still do it, but the hard drive light doesn't come on. It's almost like it keeps rebooting. Maybe it could be the power adapter? Or my friend suggested maybe the DDR I put in it doesn't work. I already RMAd the CPU and hard drive back to newegg so hopefully by the end of the week I'll have the replacements. I've been trying to get a hold of ECS to see what I should do, but all the ECS customer service horror stories are true. It's horrib.e I can't get anyone. I just don't know what else to do. Anyone have any ideas on what could have caused this whole mess? Thanks for any help anyone might be able to offer.

Oh yeah, I tried to RMA the notebook to newegg, but they said they don't RMA notebooks which is why I have to deal with the god forsaken ECS customer service people.
