Anyone know where to find the latest mpeg2 dvb faqs? All I get
is:

DVBWAVE.COM is down until further notice

What I am currently looking for is a list of Ku mpeg2 dvb receivers
and their competitive quality ratings.

There is a good chance that dvbwave.com may not return.

Most consumer DVB receivers that are non proprietary are not
designed to be used specifically with C-Band or Ku. They will
work with either and can be configured for the LNB(s) that are
used. There are hundreds of manufacturers. Possibly if you
post a message to this NG describing your needs or preferred
use of a DVB receiver people can make suggestions.

OK, here goes. A major priority is a blind search receiver. Have I
missed any with the following list?

Coship 3188C
Satwork 3618
Satwork 3688A
Fortec Ultra
Pansat 2500A

Another priority would be a comparison of each receiver's tuner
quality (sensitivity?).

Also, is the Pansat 2500A "smart search" the same as the other
receivers' "blind search"?

YES. The Pansat 2500a smart search is the same as blind search.
It also does AC3 audio and has a polarotor control.
