My girlfriend has come from Japan.
She bought a new cell phone in Japan and asked it to be so she can use it in
Australia.

Ok she is in Australia now.
She can recieve calls and emails from Japan.
She can send emails and calls to Japan from Australia.
She can call any Australian phone here.

I sent her an email from my PC and she got it on her cell phone.

But I cannot call her, it will not accept calls from within Australia, it
keeps saying the number called is not connected.

Whats the problem ??

Have you tried to call her from more than one phone in Australia? Maybe it
is your phone that has the problem that it cannot call out to that number.

Does her phone have a Japanese or Australian SIM in it?
