Hi, I am having a problem with My DKU-5 Cable. I have installed the drivers
first before installing my cable and when I install PC Suite, it detects the
COM Port as COM 5. Afterwards, when I restart the computer, the setup
wizard comes back on and asks to enter an familiar name. I enter it as
Nokia 7210. Then I try opening the connection manager and it repeatedly
comes up with "No Such Interface Supported. It doesn't seem to work on ME
or XP. I don't seem to understand why, it has detected the COM Port and it
won't let me go into advance to see which COM Port it is on. Maybe I am
doing something wrong. Let me know. Thanks!

What exactly are you trying to do with the cable? Use it as a modem? Use it
to synchronize your phonebook?

Have a look at Oxygen Phone Manager II ( http://www.opm-2.com/ ). Maybe, you
are using non-original PL-2303 cable with 'DKU-5' label. This cable may not
function with Nokia PC Suite, however, it may function in Oxygen Phone
Manager II. To set this cable up you should take the following steps:

1) Connect your phone to PC with this cable
2) Open 'Start' -> 'Settings' -> 'Control panel' -> 'System' ->
'Hardware' -> 'Device manager' for MS Windows XP or 'Start' -> 'Settings' ->
'Control panel' -> 'System' -> 'Devices' for MS Windows ME. Expand 'Ports
COM and LPT' branch and remember virtual COM port, created by cable drivers
(usually it is greater than COM 2).
3) Set virtual COM port number from point (2) in 'Tools' -> 'Options' ->
'Connection and common' -> 'Connection' -> 'Add port' in our program.
Left-click once on 'DAU-9p/F-Bus' sign and choose 'DLR-3/DLR-3p' option.
Make sure, that all other connection options, including DKU-5 (works for
Nokia original cables only) are turned off. Press 'Ok' to confirm settings.

PS: don't forget to turn cable connection off in Nokia Connection Manager
before running Oxygen Phone Manager II.

If you have any questions and/or suggestions, concerning our
program, feel free to post them on our official forum
