How can I contact these folks to ask a question about one of their reviews??

The wrote an article called:The Gigahertz Dupe: Dell SmartStep 250N <A HREF="http://www.tomshardware.com/mobile/02q4/021101/smartpc-04.html#smartsteps_lowenergy_setting_clock_throttling" target="_new">link</A> (about half way down the page)

They claim that the cpu only runs at half speed while on batts, which I'm sure is true cause my Sager laptop with a desktop cpu does the same thing. They further claim that nothing can be done to change the automatic running at half speed while on batts, which may or may not be true. My Sager has bios setting that allows you to run at full speed or half speed while on batts. The Dell in the review may have this feature also. Of course the Dell could also be exactly as described as well. One thing for sure is that at least some laptops are user adjustable cause mine is and so is Bill's Pro-star.

Give me fuel, give me fire, give me that which I desire.

I have a SmartStep 200N with the 2.0ghz P4 and I don't know if it's just my computer but it's the same plugged as unplugged. Infact it actualy goes up .2mhz when unplugged. I bench the same plugged as unplugged also.
