new digicams

how do people like the panasonic fz30? the sensor is smaller than canon
pro 1. and the new fijifilm s9000 doesn't look appealing either. what
will the future hold for consumer digicams.

There are full size fz30 samples at dpreview. Starting at iso 160, the
quality deteriorates. However, it's good enough for many people. At ISO
400, it's very bad. I had seen a downsampled iso 1600 S9000 sample. Even
downsampled to 2MP, it's not good.
