Hello All:

I'm trying to setup a personal area network (PAN) connection (with no
Internet Connection Sharing (ICS))between my Audiovox VX6600 PDA (Windows
Mobile, 2nd Edition) and a Windows XP laptop with SP2.

The VX6600 has built-in Bluetooth that supports a PAN stack. On the XP
laptop, I'm using a DLINK DBT120-REVB4 USB Bluetooth adapter.

I' m passed the basic problems regarding XP SP2 and the DLINK (aka WIDCOMM)
adapter.

I just cannot get the PAN service to work eventhough other laptop to vx6600
operations work (such as File Transfer).

Per many references on the Internet, I have assigned static IPs between the
Bluetooth LAN Adapter on XP and the PAN adapter on the VX6600. When I try to
initiate a "Join Personal Network" from the PDA, the laptop Bluetooth
Explorer flashes a connection indicator from the PDA and the PDA sees the
laptop - BUT the connection never "sticks".

The Bluetooth Adapter on the laptop is always in a "Cable Disconnect" state.

If anyone can help with this, I would be very grateful.

Thanks!
