Hi,when trying to play a DVD on this machine,error in video
subsystem,try lowering screen depth or resolution?Varying display
settings seem to have no effect,any ideas thanks

Hi Scott... Yes I have lots of ideas. While I have no idea what machine,
video card, OS, or DVD player software you are using. So I have to be
very generic here.

Video card driver might need to be updated

DirectX might need to be updated. (9.0c is the latest)

DVD Player application might not handle copy protected movies (PowerDVD
and WinDVD are okay)

It might be something else, but these are the first 3 things I would
check.
