I have a friend who owns a second-hand laptop made by LGIBM for the
Korean market. Its model number is NZ2SG4B00S, and the word XNOTE
appears on the case. Unfortunately it came without the original CDs,
and having re-installed Windows on it, it has now lost the original
driver for the graphics card. (The card is an ATI Mobility Radeon
7500, but ATI don't provide drivers for these cards because individual
laptop manufacturers customise the driver for the specific display
hardware.)

I'm hoping a driver will be available for download from the
manufacturer's web site, www.lgibm.co.kr, but as I don't speak Korean I
haven't been able to navigate the site. The Google and Altavista
translators both seem to give up on the site as well! LG in Australia
won't help, they say they're only responsible for supporting models
sold in Australia.

So I was wondering if there's any kind Korean speaker reading this
newsgroup who can spare 15 minutes to look at the LGIBM site and see if
there's a link to a download for a display driver for the NZ2SG4B00S
XNOTE.

Thank you!

A generous Korean friend has now helped me find the driver, so no need
for anyone else to look, thanks.

BTW, the correct web site for these laptops now seems to be
http://www.lge.co.kr (not lgibm), and the URL for the driver I was
looking for is:

http://www.lge.co.kr/product/xnote [...] 12_521.EXE

I would suggest re-posting this plea for assistance at
http://forum.thinkpads.com as we have several members from Korea and I'm
certain one of them would be glad to help.

James
