AOL has informed users that in early 2005 that service will stop access to
Newsgroups. Bummer. Sure, I can get to Newsgroups using the new Google
"Groups" feature or thru IE.....but the AOL format for Usenet is much easier to
read and manage. Send AOL a nasty email if this bothers you too.

Actually most of us have already sent AOL a big Thank-You note. :-)

U haven't been with AOL long enough.

In the early days, there was a big complaint to AOL. Ask what they
were going to do about it, they said nothing, they are doing the right
thing, 'cuz if they were really doing something bad, (paraphrasing)
the customers would have drop them right there and then, rather than
spending the time complaining!

So good luck with your nasty letters.

Personally I have AOL for just one reason. To keep up to date on it so that
I can support my clients who use AOL. I don't actually _use_ it for much
of anything.

Why would anyone be upset with this?

Just use a real ISP who is cheaper and better.
