IBM T42 Users - Windows Key?

Hi,

I have a new IBM T42 as you may know there is no Windows key.
Is there a way to configure the keyboard so that it can do a combination
will do the same?

Get Keyboard customizer utility from IBM and you can assign other key
for Win and App keys.

I use Alt Gr - haven't so far found it has caused a problem with shortcuts.

I agree. What's wrong with including the Windows Key? Is that supposed to be
in some ways worse?
One of their sales people told me it's because they don't have enough room.
I mentioned they don't have any less room to work with than all the other
makers. Oh well, I guess they just want the space-bar to be extra long.
I also like my lap top a lot and am getting more and more hooked on it every
day. Especially like the five hours or so battery life.

whats about running Linux? Or even other OS? they don't need this
