Hi all

Was in a hurry whilst online last night and a damned Pop-up caught me
out and I closed it by clicking the box instead of doing a right click
close on taskbar and as a consequence, I have the IE5 Internet Options
Homepage all greyed out and a damned homepage set to some garbage
website... I tried to see if I could amend it from the Registry but it
keeps resetting... any ideas??

- Standard advice for spyware-infested computers:
Adaware - http://www.lavasoftusa.com/software/adaware/
Spybot S&D - http://security.kolla.de/

Boot into safe mode; run one or another or both of them.

- Don't run IE 5. Upgrade to IE6 and apply all the fixes

- Even better: don't use IE at all. Mozilla-based browsers are far less
spyware prone. Try Firefox: http://www.mozilla.org/products/firefox/
