Win 7 - 64 bit
nVidia GeForce 6800 (latest drviers)
LCD connected with VGA

Issue:

When I lock the computer and then unlock the computer, the desktop (or any open widows) will be blotchy (e.g. out-of-place dots, blurry edges). Grabbing an open window and moving it around the screen wipes the problems away.

The problem may occur at other times as well, however, it consistently occurs after unlocking the computer.

This is a new install of Windows 7 64 bit with a new LCD monitor as well. Previously this same hardware on Vista 32 bit and a different LCD had no issues. (I have not switched back the monitors to see if that is the issue, but I plan to try that later today).

I have switched out VGA cord, but that did not help. The LCD does not support DVI.

I tried various drivers and the latest Beta driver from nVida fixed the problem (GeForce/ION Release 195 BETA 195.39 October 30, 2009).
