The 5750 is a clear winner here....Both companies are good....u should decide on the pricing and warranty they give with your purchase....

if you can find an XFX branded 5750, there warranty is unbeatable (double lifetime)

Reply to mindless728

i just want to know what "double lifetime" means.....

Reply to ridic23

Means if you decide to give/sell your card in the future, the warranty will remain the same. I sold an XFX card to a friend about a year ago and it is still under warranty.

Theres not much of a difference between both, I would save up 15-20$ more and get the 4850. Best bang for buck....

but can any one tell me whats the diff between 128bit cand and 256bits which is better as i have seen gt250 is 256 bit and 5750 is 128 bits

Reply to nikhilnim

yes the 250 has a 256bit memory interface but that does not mean the 128bit 5750 is weaker, the 5750's architechure is more advanced, the card produces less heat, consumes less power, it's DX11 and eye-finity ready... And last but not least, much more future-proof.

If we were comparing a 128bit 4770 vs. a 256bit 4850 then of course the 4850 would be a faster card, but the 5xxx series is a whole nother ballgame.

ok guys then give me last suggestion which card is should buy gt250 or a hd5750
thanks

Reply to nikhilnim

This is what I would do, if your board supports Cross-Fire then go with the 5750, later on you can add another one if needed. If your board does not support CF and you might upgrade next year then go ahead with the GTS 250. Now, if you are waiting for DX 11 titles and/or you are going to use more than 2 monitors then the 5750 is the clear choice. The GTS 250 should be your last resort since it is not as future-proof and the 5XXX series.

the GTS250 beats the HD 5750 but you should go for the HD 5770 instead since its just a few bucks more expensive than the 5750 and way better. Still the GTS250 is the smartest deal though. Its way more powerfull than any 7 series ATI card.

ohh ok my mboard dnt support cf nor i gonna connect two monitors so should i go with gt 250 hmm but 5750 is a new tech ................

He means ATI X7XX, but that is innacurate since the 5770 kicks the snot out of a 250.

Saphire and MSI are companies, tho not the best of the brands.

XFX are ok (good warranty period - but ppl have issues claiming warranty)

ASUS are the best!
Gygabyte are also really good.
EVGA/MSI/SAPHIRE/XFX are only slightly below.

Funny ....

EVGA, XFX and Sapphire are among the top 3 GPU's ..... Don't know where you got Asus and coming in first place :pfff:

As far as people having issues with thier XFX warranty, that is nonsense unless the user did not register his GPU withing the 30 day time frame.... And you have to take into consideration that the lifetime warranty is only available in the US.

Just because they clock thiers higher, dont mean that makes them the best

Reply to Cygone

Has nothing to do with clocks, its the reliability, warranty and track record that makes them the best...
