I've tried lots of different things to get it working and still natta. I do know the cpu says that it's all in working order, but then I noticed the green and yellow lights don't light up when I plug in the cable. I hope someone will be able to help.

Try another cable and/or port on the router. Check device manager and make sure the OS sees the nic. Try an add-on nic.

Did you buy another motherboard from Dell or did you buy a board from a store or newegg? Never mind just realized its a laptop...... :pt1cable:
Did you load the drivers for it?

Right click on My Computer, and select properties. Select the Hardware tab and then the Device Manager button. Look for any yellow or red exclamation marks or question marks. Look under Network Adapters and make sure yours is listed.
