I have been thinking about getting a new power supply for a while as the one i got is 300watt and I put in a ati radeon hd4670 card which i found out it requires 400watt. I'm worried if i play some demanding game it will blow up my computer or something heres the specs for my computer http://support.gateway.com/s/PC/R/ [...] 4sp3.shtml also besides using a different video card then listed there i also have an extra 1/2gb of ram if that makes any difference. Google a power supply calculator to find out how much power do you really need.
Then look for a good power supply. I don't think the good ones are that cheap though.
I have a Fortron bluestorm and it has been solid for about 4 years now, but there are other good brands like Corsair, Antec etc.
