Comparing processors on the egg and came across this proc. The Newegg page doesn't mention hardware virtualization when I compared this with my X2 550 or the Propus core processors. However when I went to the AMD site it shows virtualization as one of the specs. Am I missing something here or mis-reading something ? I'm asking because I have a GB MA790X-UD4P sitting here, unused and am wondering which proc to drop in for a new Win 7 build. I have Win 7 OEM on hand and a X2 550 on hand but there is no guarantee that I'll be able to unlock any cores so I'd rather have a 3 or 4 core CPU installed before I install and activate if possible. Thanks in advance. BTW I'm not into heavy gaming so this will be an one size fits all build.

I'd go with the AMD specs, as I have often seen the Newegg ones wrong or omit important info. I can also say with certainty that the Athlon II 250 has Virtualization (I've used XP mode on Win7 Enterprise), so I'd be a little surprised if the higher end ones didn't, but definitely make your decision based off of what AMD's website says.
