hello, i am wondering if i should enable radius. it says in the help section about the firewall that radius adds an extra layer of security. and security is indeed what i want and why i have the cisco RVS4000. i looked up what it is and such but i dont understand alot of networking stuff just the basics and am slowly leaqrning. i think my firewall could act as the radius server? im not really sure though. but i am a security nut. and the more the better atleast me. should i enable this?

a little information about my netwroking usages. there is only one computer in the house and i do not use VPN. i bought this foiirewall because i like that it has a hardware virus scanner, application annomaly detection, intrusion prevention, and then of course all the reguler features other firewalls have dos protection ect.

You can enable Radius, but you require a Radius server. If you don't use the VPN, then enabling it serves no purpose.

You could also use the VPN to connect to your home system from remote locations. If you don't plan to connect to your home from remote locations (using your laptop), then you don't need a VPN.
