Hi everyone,

 

Lately, I've came across one particular ASUS P7P55D Deluxe's unique feature like ASUS XtremeDesign True 24 Hybrid Phase Design and I don't know why it says 24 Phases since the description says it is only 16+3 extra Phases = 19 Phases... :o

 

Why 24 Phases while the total Phases are actually 19 Phases (16+3)??? :ouch:

 

Same thing with P7P55D EVO's True 16 Hybrid Phase Design which is actually only 12+2 = 14 Phases total....

 

I don't even think that I am having problem with these pure elementary mathematic equations... :D

 

Another question is that would 24/19 Hybrid Phase Powers give a lot of performance boost or allowing more overclocking than 16 Hybrid Phase Powers (12+2)???? :heink:

 

If I had to choose between ASUS P7P55D Deluxe and ASUS P7P55D EVO, which one should I choose??

 

Is it worth to choose P7P55D Deluxe over P7P55D EVO??? :bounce:

 

Is True 24 Hybrid Phase Power Design just ASUS's Marketing Hype or is it really useful for overclocking and lowering CPU's Vcore Temperature???

Maybe I had just answered my own questions or something? :D

 

Maybe my answers are correct and could be the best answers for this thread then...

 

So ASUS 24 Hybrid Phase Design is essentially 19 Phases total and 16 Hybrid Phase Design is essentially 14 Phases total...

 

I was thinking about going with cheaper ASUS P7P55D PRO instead of P7P55D EVO or P7P55D Deluxe so I can save more money...

I believe some of the phases are allocated to the Cpu and the rest are allocated to ram.

It is strange because ASUS did admit by putting description like "12+2 Phases" for True 16 Hybrid Phase Design Motherboards. How can it be 16 while 12+2 is 14 Phases total?

Or maybe 14 Phases has the capability of reaching to 16 Phases Power while the total is only 14 Phases?

Like the 19 Phases has the capability of reaching to 24 Phases Power while it is only 19 Phases total??

Or maybe it is essentially just a marketing hype by ASUS???
