Playback of .mp4 files

Have just received an HP iPAQ rx3700 PPC. (Best Christmas present ever!!!)

Has preinstalled HP software called "HP Image Zone" which, according to the
Help Books is able to play mp4 files. I use Nero 6 to convert DVD's to mp4
files. The play fine on my PC, but will not play on PPC. I have tried many
different settings in Nero... sometimes just the start of clip will play,
sometimes the whole clip and no sound... and so on..

Are there limitations to the type of mp4 that can be played... ie
picture/sound quality restrictions?

I have tried "Beta-Player", but just found out it doesn't support mp4 files
