Hi,

Video Card : ATI Radeon X1600 Pro
Video Out : Dual Link DVI

I'd like to split the Video signal between my Samsung Monitor ( Syncmaster 226BW ) and Panasonic Plasma HDTV.

I was going to get a splitter cable, but then I read some reviews that a "powered" splitter is better as otherwise only hotswap would work, as the card would get confused to tune the split-video-signal. Is that true ? Any other alternatives ?

Please advice.

Thanks.

I believe you cannot share the same input. You would have to put the DVI to the TV and the VGA to the monitor...

I could be wrong though.
