We are picking up a Macbook. I would like to be able to use it in the nearby park if possible. The park is about 120 or so meters away, but I don't have line of sight. We are in a NYC apt so there are bricks and stuff. Or out the window 10 meters and make a left hand turn.

So, is it possible to get wireless in the park? If so, any suggestions on a less expensive router? This will be the only wireless device on the network and speed is not all that important, it just has to be about as fast as our middling internet connection.

As always, TIA.

N has an indoor range of 300ft(91m) and an outdoor range of 600ft(182m) with direct line of sight and no blockages. Greater the range, the less speed.

So yes, it is possible to get a signal in the park, but the real world would say no.
