Help! Totally New! Will this build work???

Hey, i dont know much about computers and i will be buying a new computer by the end of this week.
I was just wondering if you guys can help me with this build. I'm ordering from ibuypower.com because it seems to be the most affordable and all. I will mainly be using this pc for Gaming, Music, Movies, Browsing the Web etc.
I want to be able to play World of Warcraft on it as well as the newer games coming out (starcrat 2, diablo 3), but i still want it to be able to hold my music and my work. Help is appreciated. I would like to stay within the $1,000 budget give or take a couple hundred more.

7) The graphics card is what got me. I really need help for this part. Currently i have selected the 2x NVIDIA Geforce 8800GTS 640MB w/ DVI+tv out video - running SLI mode. I Don't know if i should get a single 8 series or a 9 series or a dual.

A lot of people are afaird of building their own pc. I can agree that the setup Proximon gave you is a very good build and all the parts are comptable. It is truely a fun adventure to build your first PC. Yes its scary but the amount of money you save and the satisfaction you get saying I built this is worth it alone. There are lots of vidoes and walkthroughs on how to build a PC. Just google it and watch a few. Maybe even look inside your current computer and determine if you can start idenifing the parts that are within it and what they do.
