You will not be happy with the SSD. MLC units have a controller problem that shows up in long delays in random writes. Anandtech had an article on this. Only the Intel X25-m mlc drive is good because intel did it's own controller. Slc units are ok, but much more expensive.
Either get the intel unit at $600+, or a velociraptor for your fast access data.

Your PC P&C 610 is very good, and will handle everything. Overclocking the cpu does not add much to the power requirements. Only if you got a second vga card for sli would you need to change the psu.

Consider changing to a very good 24" monitor. It is one of the few "future proof" PC purchases we can make today.

Can't help on blu-ray.

Many cooler makers have lga 1366 adapters for their coolers. I know thermalright does, and noctua also. You should have many choices if you want a new cooler. It is my understanding that the i7 generates lots of heat, particularly when overclocked, so it would be good to get a good cooler.

---good luck---

I did not see a case for all of these parts to go in. I am building a similar system but with 3 gtx 280 in SLI. Does 3 gpus fit in the Asus mob mentioned above??? i know the gpus are huge and long, what case should i get to make sure i have enough room for the 3 card setup? this is my first pc bulid and any help wold be appreciated.

First, I do not think the P6T supports 3 way sli.
Second, I question the value of more than 2 way sli.

The cards are 10.5" long, about an inch longer than the atx motherboard.
You can use any case that will hold a GTX280.
You may think you need a huge case for good cooling, but I think that a smaller mid size case with good airflow will actually cool better.
Consider how well a large room will be cooled if you have only a small 120mm fan in the door for input, and a similar fan in the window for output.
The Antec 300 is a well ventilated case that is cheap. Look for something with two 120mm front input fans and two 120mm output rear/top fans.

Im not confident the long GTX 280 will fit in your Gigabyte 3D Aurora (based on eyeballing a picture of case with MB installed. You'll want to research that carefully.
