alright so this will be my first system build, i'm trying to gear it towards gaming, specifically World of Warcraft. just looking to get some opinions on this setup!


CPU - Intel Core 2 Duo E8400 Cocket LGA775, 3GHz, 1333MHz FSB, 6MB cache, 45nm

GPU - EVGA e-GeForce 9800GTX+ 512MB (512-P3-N873-AR) nVidia GeForce 9800GT Chipset (738Mhz) 512MB (2200Mhz) GDDR3 Dual Dual-Link DVI PCI-Express 2.0 Graphics Card

Mobo - Gigabyte GA-EP45-DS3L Socket 775 Intel P45 + ICH10 Dual-Channel DDR2 1200Mhz Dual GigaLAN 8-channel Audio Support 1600Mhz FSB

Ram - Mushkin HP2 6400 4GB (2x2) DDR2 800-5-4-4-12 (1.8V) 240pins

HDD - WD Caviar 500GB SATAII 7200RPM 16MB Buffer

Disk Drive - Samsung SH-S223Q/BEBN SATA Lightscribe Black 22x DVD-Writer

Case - Antec Sonata III Quiet Super Mid tower w/ 500W PSU. Metalic Charcoal:)

My suggestions would be to swap out the GPU for a HD4850. You will get more performance for less money that way.

I would also upgrade the HD to the WD6400AAKS. The extra platter density makes it considerably faster for not much more money.
