So right now I have like $470 for my computer, can't spend more than $500.

I have a kinda old computer that just doesnt cut it, so I'm basically going to strip out everything and rebuild it because it has a nice ibuypower case with good cooling. Things I want to keep; Hard drive (im pretty sure its ide), psu is 420w but i can get a new one if i have the money, cd drive (pretty sure its sata), and thats about it.

so I need;
ATX mobo
cpu
ram
gpu
psu (maybe)
monitor

I want atleast 2gb of ram, max of 3gb. Cpu preferabley dual core, gpu needs to be pretty nice for the monitor (gaming and hd movie watching). I just play WoW right now, and I want it at FULL settings with good framerates. Hopefully, someone can help me out on my quest to upgrade this computer that I got for free, XD. I wish I could salvage the ram, but its kinda old and I doubt it would fit in new mobo...pc3200 184 pin.

thanks

CPU/Mobo combo - $159 shipped - $10 MIR = $149!! Hard to beat at this price. Has e5200 w/Biostar p43 mobo!
5th combo from the top!

GPU/Memory combo - $197 shipped - $45 MIR's = $152!! Can't beat this selection right now.
First combo from the top, which comes with AMD 4850 GPU and OCZ CAS4 1066mHz RAM!

PSU - $62 shipped!! Plenty of power for what you need. Has 2 x 6 pin PCI-e power connectors too.
Antec NeoPower 550 550W ATX12V SLI Certified CrossFire Ready Active PFC Power Supply - Retail

Total $413 - $55 MIR's = $358!!! Now you have room for $142 for a Monitor, unless your going to use your current one.
$130 shipped!!
Acer X193Wb Black 19" 5ms Widescreen LCD Monitor 300 cd/m2 2000:1 ACM - Retail

Total after MIR's = $488!!! Now I know that is over your budget (before MIR's), but you'll be hard pressed to find much better a deal.

------------------------------ PSU Tiers
GPU Power
8800gtx w/e6600 OC'd will run on Antec 380w w/27A on 12v rail, PSU!!

If you can afford the $10 more for a minor step up, I'd get the Corsair 650tx. It has 2 x 6+2pin PCI-e power connectors, which will allow you to power up ANY GPU right now. It also has 52A on the 12v rail, so that'll open up GPU possibilities later too!!
$93 - $20 MIR = $73!!
Corsair TX CMPSU-650TX ATX12V & EPS12V Power Supply

------------------------------ PSU Tiers
GPU Power
8800gtx w/e6600 OC'd will run on Antec 380w w/27A on 12v rail, PSU!!

Use this link...

And yes the GPU has a $8.25 shipping charge but no 4850 GPU at this price range has free shipping available from newegg.com
