Hi, I have the Core i7 920 edition stepping 4. And i'm wondering how to properly OC the processor and for it to be stable. Because OC'ing does reduce it's longevity. Anyhow, i've had this Processor since January 2009 and the only OC'ing i've done to it was simply bring up the Bclk to 160, which gave me 3.2GHZ, which is not bad but i know it can go higher 
. I've seen users bring it up to 4.0Ghz which is very impressive. I have a freind who's buddy brought his at 4.5 i beleive because his stepping was different(rare). Anyhow i'm on air cool. I'm curious to know if someone has OC'd with this particular setup. If you can share your knowledge that would be appreciated. thanks...cheers

Cooler Master V8 cooler

Do a search I have the same system and have detailed setting for your configuration that I posted on this site.
Either search for Antect 900 or by my name.
One thread is for 3.6 and another thread is for 3.8.
Let me know how you make out.
