ok....this is completely weird....

1st, my moms ipod is corrupted, according to windows
2nd, my comp slows to a crawl, even before windows **** starts loading (when i can go to my bios)
3rd, comp speeds up and also says that heat of cpu is 55 degrees celcius (ouch)
plz help, i have no idea whats wrong

Sounds like the the hard drive is on its way out althought 55 degrees on the processor is a bit high it will run okish but i would suggest cleaning out the processor fan - remove all the dust...

What kind of processor/computer is it?

yea but a corrupted ipod wouldn't cause the comp to slow before windows loads
