I know this question has been asked quite a few times but when i pull a search it shows a thread and i click the link and says thread does not exist. Anyhow my question is, is the deluxe worth it. It's easy to see that its 16 phase vs. 8 phase, not a huge deal but deluxe wins there. Also the deluxe has 2 more usb ports, but either has quite a few. Most recently i've found that the heat pipe on the p5q-e only covers the northbridge, not routing through the board and covering the southbridge and a few other items on the deluxe, so the board should in theory run a tad cooler meaning longer life. The deluxe also comes with 2 more sata cables, not exactly a big deal. Does anyone know of any other inclusions for the deluxe? Maybe differences in software? Any thing else?

I am leaning towards the deluxe mostly for the heat pipe that goes the distance, but would be nice to know if there were anything else on it the e series doesn't have.

I have the P5Q-E for about 3 months now and it works super fine...
The temperature of the motherboard is 36-40 when running...
I must say that my casing is not a good one...

The P5q_e and Deluxe has the same functions and PCB design...
It's just that the Deluxe version has some extra like the the heatpipe connecting the the northbridge to the southbridge and the 16 power phase and also it has an SSD on whom is installed the Express Gate...

All these cost about $50 more..

So if you want the extra features then go ahead and buy the Deluxe....
