i have 500 gbp to spend and a few parts hardisks and opticals from my old system heres what ive come up with so far

Gigabyte GA-P35-DS3L _ BFG GeForce 9800 GTX+ OC 512MB GDDR3 TV-Out/Dual DVI (PCI-Express) - Retail _ Intel Core 2 Duo E7200 _ Corsair TX 650W ATX2.2 SLi Compliant PSU _ GeIL 4GB (4x1GB) PC2-8500C5 1066MHz Black Dragon DDR2 Dual Channel _ Akasa AK-ZEN-01-WH Rev.2 Zen White Case

does everything fit ok as in no choke points etc?

i was planning on overclocking to 3ghz will stock cooler be ok

I'm not sure but I think hd4850 is better and cost less, though it's hotter.

You will need a 64bit OS to use all the available ram. You might want to look at AMD cards (the 4850 is sweet)--With that badass PSU, you might want to upgrade to a Crossfire/SLI motherboard for more upgrade options down the road. You will be better off going with a 2x2GB ram configuration for OC Stability (at lower timings).

You may have to repace your HSF if you want to hit 3ghz (every chip is different). You would be able to run the 7200 with cheaper DDR2 800 memory to svae a few bones.
