Hi, all!

I gonna buy a zire 72 along
with a memory card. I know nothing
about this stuff. So:

* Any SD memory card is suitable for zire?
E.g. Kingston Secure Digital Card and SanDisk
Secure Digital Card

* Have Wi-fi cards (e.g. Wi-Fi SDIO Card) memory,
so that, if i buy one, i don´t need by a SD memory
card?

Any hint will be much appreciated.

Thx in advance!

Leonardo

Yes

Depends on the card. I have no idea about how well they work, but I do
know some WiFi cards have 128Mb included, some are just WiFi (so no
extra memory).

I'll go after this one and leave the other question to the rest.
This group has many who believe that SD cards are made by one or two
manufacturers; the names you see on them are *not* manufacturers. Some
people hate San Disk cards, but they work fine for me. Personally, I detest
Lexar cards, as they suddenly become "read only" in my Tungsten E. Other
people like Panasonic, but I have a personal boycott of
Panasonic/Matsushita, so I won't evaluate that one.

I suggest that you get a San Disk or something from a reputable dealer (I
wonder how those cards at the Aldi grocery store worked out) and try them
out.

But how to identify the producer of SD cards?
any software?
or need to open it?
