Very cool!
I hope to have all but the video cards by next week, then I will to watch to see what comes out in November.
I figure worst case is...I buy 2 5750s and Cross fire them...then, wait til the end of the year for NewEgg to put stuff on sale and the card makers to want to sell a lot of stock after the Christmas holiday and get some big rebates and price breaks.
Can't wait to hear/see your results too. I am going to try and take pics with my camera to show my build when I'm done.
I'm interested...That would be cool if one of you got the 5850 or 5870...
I wanna see what these card can do...

Yeah... kinda sucks (for me) because it kinda costs me $400. It was pretty cool though. The mosfet cought on fire, i asket shamino about it and he said it was probably a broken pcb.

I have the Phenom II X2 as well, and haven't been able to activate the other two cores. I can set the EC firmware to hybrid without a problem, but when I set the ACC to auto, the system fails during POST and I have to use the clear CMOS jumper. Is my chip maybe one of those that can't be fully enabled?
So I take it the warranty was thoroughly voided?

Thats what happens why, but I think my NB and Vcore is under powered so I may need to fix that.....
If highering cpu voltage doesn't help then you have a faulty chip. The approximate voltage needed to unlock the cores is about 1.325V.
