Until a few days ago the BenQ DVD DD DW1620 firmware B7W9 has burned disks no problem on XP Pro 5.1.2 SP3 . Now it's just not happening.
Can you tell me what i can check to refine my search.
As a reader it's ok, just not burning. No error messages come up. it just dies in the ass. Starts off red light - indicating it is starting the burn process then the light will go green about 1 minute in, then it just stays that way till I eject the disk or depending on the software, tells me to load a new disk. No disk has been partially burnt during this process on any disk I have put in since the problem.
