Whats the difference... and will I notice it between the 2?

Trying to cut down the price on my next build and the difference between the two HD's that are the same size in storage but 1 is 16 and 1 is 32 is $25. Both got great reviews though.

Thanks

The Cavier Black will be the faster of the 2. Blacks are performance drives....Blues are general storage.

Look for the 640gb or 1tb models ( WD Black ) they are faster due to higher platter density( 2x320 or 3x333gb). Also the Samsung Spinpoint F3 just came out and is of a single 500gb platter design or 2 500gb in the 1tb model and is even faster.

Platter density matters more then cache size.

The Spinpoint should be with 2x 500gb platters vs 3x 333 gb platters on the WD.
