So I ordered a DVD drive without checking the connections of my mobo.
my mobo does not have an IDE connector and so I was going to get a converter.
Syba SY-BIR-IDESA IDE/SATA Converter Bi-Directional IDE to SATA

I wanted to make sure that this should work, even though there are two ports for sata from the converter.

ordering it from amazon.

DO you think this would work? if not what should I use? and I really want it to be under $15 bucks otherwise I might as well just buy a new drive ($30)

Thanks much, Bosque

It should work. This one on Newegg specifically states that it works with CD/DVD ROM Drives:
