There isnt a Foxconn section so i thought id post it in general.

does anybody know what graphics cards work on the 975X7AB-8EKRS2H motherboard?

i currently have an ATI x1950 PRO CROSSFIRE EDITION and a x1950XTX installed.

is it possible to upgrade them to say, a 3870?

yea you can run a 3870 on there... u can even run a 8800gt or a 4850...

well, i have an 800watt power supply

do you think it would handle 2 3870's (or gx2s) well?

also, how much more powerful (in an estimate... use FPS levels in a game if you want) are 3870's than 1950XTX's ?

u ll see a increase but dollar for dollar i dont think it would be smart to go for 2 x 3870s..

i want to get better graphics; i feel with the new games theses are outdated

so which would be the best of the compatible cards in SLI/Crossfire mode to get?

well i may think of building my own new computer

but i dont want to spend over £600.

would i be able to make one better than my current (or around the spec of a 2x8800gtx) for that price?

upgrading might be worthless.. unless you are running at the resolutions 1920 x 1080 or 1920 x 1200 +++++++ i would suggest you invest your time in a new display.. i wouldnt suggest a upgrade until you told us what resolution you play at.

i play at 1440x900

and without AA (which i cant put on in most new games) i cant stand to play games... just looks shabby without it, and with it the game is unplayable.

for example the Red Alert 3 Beta and Assassins Creed
