Hi....

I recently...(As In Yesterday) set up my new rig...

Config:-

Cpu: Intel Core 2 Duo E7200 @ 2.53 Ghz
MoBo: Abit IP35 P OFF LIMITS
Memory: 2GB (2 X 1GB) OCZ @ 800 Mhz
GPU: MSI Nvidia 9500 GT (512 MB DDR2)
Hard Disc: 500 GB Seagate Barracuda
PSU: Glacial 500W
Cab: Coolermaster Elite 33
Optical: Sony DVD Writer Combo + Samsung CD writer Combo
Panel: Viewsonic 19'' Wide Screen
Speakers: Creative Inspire 2600 + Altec Lansing 2.1

The question i have is regarding S/PDIF. What is it????

My MoBo manual has a S/pdif out, and my Graphics has in, So wat does connecting it mean???

I recently set fire to my 965 RY old rig, by fooling around with the jumpers....

so i'm little worried of messing about with out the right info.....

Also wat do you guys think of my rig.... is it any good? built with a tight budget mind you........

Thanks in advance

Obviously your video card has the option for sound out via s/pdif. Really helps when you have HDMI out and want to use audio/video via a hdmi cable.
