I know theres this skulltrail for ridicoulysly expencive intel 45nm extreme cpus, even we can put cheaper xeon and intel processors on it.

Im looking for a dual socket am2+ motherboard, dont know if it exists. Not going to use this as a gaming rig, but it needs 1x 16x pciexpress atleast which most workstation motherboards has.

And if it doesnt exist, why not ? AMDs cpus are nice and I think we could benefit alot having such a board.

Everything I have read tells me it does not exist. AMD does not support Dual Processors in the mainstream. Don't ask me why I don't have a concrete answer for you.

I suppose you might be able to find an Opteron board that supports two processors but that's about it.

Just looked it up and I am correct.

AMD nor Nvidia make a chipset that supports Dual X2 or Phenom processors.

There are motherboards that support Dual Opteron processors however.
