started playing age of conan last night and getting alot of lag 8( so need to change vcard at least I think... heres setup

p d960 3.6 gig
asus p5n32 sli mb
2 gigs ram
300 gig barracuda hd
gforce 8600 gs ( figure this is main problem )
550 antec tru-power psu ( figure this may hold back the highest end vcards 8800gtx etc and really hate to change this out but if must will )

soundcard was the razer ac-1 but that thing has been crashing games/stuff and even rebooting comp so using onboard sound atm but i'll go get a creative xfi maybe the regular or extre gaming whatever.. but ya know i need to get something.

thanks alot ahead of time... ive read alot about the cards but really unsure what to get with this psu and processor wise...

I would get the 8800GS or the 9600GT, which are good cards, also the 3850 does well too.

8800GS 768 comparison. The 8800GS comes out on top with less rezolution and less AA than the 9600

cool... thanks for the info i'll probably be going with that for sure.

i normally run 1920x1200 in games since thats my monitors native but age of conan has been harsh lol been running 1600x1200 on lowest graphics lol.

Post a link for the OP then, I've never seen a 768mb in the US.
