I have a 360 but i really want to play Multiplayer PC games
That setup is totally inadequete for modern games such as Crysis. So on that note i'd say it's time to cough up and get yourself a new computer!
then ya really need a faster pc if ya ask me both cpu and gpu upgrade proably mobo .but im no expert .
lol @ my typo i need sleep.but still neeed to go to frys for my new gear ill sleep when im dead
well now that i know that i need a new computer, could you guys tell me where to get the best parts from for cheap, thanks
i like frys and newegg.but i like frys more there local to me
I need to know which parts to get for my new computer, any help will do, thanks
Budget?
Yea a budget is critical before we can help you pick parts. Newegg is a great place with a large selection and generally low prices. Crysis will laugh at your current system.
Yeah. NEW PC FTW XD

if you live in the US the place to get cheap and or top of line computer parts for a grate price is my fav website www.newegg.com been ordering computer parts from them for 2-3yrs now grate service, prices and fast shipping!
for thous games you need a min of a Intel Dou 2 CPU or grater and recommend a 8800 GTX 512mb video card and AT LEASE 2GB of ram DDR2 or better. For A mobo I would go with ASUS, grate gaming mobo but gigabyte make some good boards too. I prefer ASUS.
P.S. Get a 500W PSU if you get the 8800 GTX video card or the card wont run. Get your self a 200-500GB Hard drive so you got plenty of room for your games. (Age of Conan alone takes up 25GB and World of Warcraft takes up something around 15GB of space.) I know you did not list thous 2 games but was using them for examples how big games are getting now adays.
Edit: one last thing get Windows XP, Vista just as good as XP and vista's eye candy takes up double the ram which you need for gaming!!!

The 8800GTX will blow the budget right out the water if his budget is $1000, it will cost roughly $500. Maybe get the 8800GTS 512mb or 8800GT 512mb. Along with the E8400 as the cpu, mobo can be the latest p45 series from asus, p5q-e or p5q-deluxe. 2gb of ram or more. A decent case like the p182, get the TRUE if you are planning to overclock.

IMHO I would take the Asus card over the Creative, mainly due to Creative bad driver support for XP/Vista and its bloated software.
Also you can wait until more x45 motherboards come out before you buy and also by then the new ATI & nVidia cards will be out.
Good Luck with your upcoming Build.
