can you upgrade a laptops Video card and cpu or not???
the reason for urgencey is there is a really good sale on a laptop for 200 dollars

No you cant upgrade either but on some asus laptops you can upgrade your graphics but you wouldn't be able to find a laptops graphics card easily.

In general, the HDD and RAM are the only easily upgradable parts.

Who knows, but I know I am working in a job with Macs, and the Mac laptop I worked on the other day...I seem to remember the cpu being soldered onto the mainboard.

Also you can probably upgrade the GFX in that laptop.

some laptop CPUs can be upgraded *IF* you are willing to risk taking your notebook completely apart. It's not for the faint of heart.

There are a small number of notebooks that use a MXM module that is a standard form factor for notebook graphics. MXM modules are not exactly readily available, but if you can find one, it should work.

That said, a $200 notebook is not going to have a MXM graphics card. We're talking about $1500+ notebooks that use MXM. Also, MXM tend to be used in desktop replacement notebooks, 17 and 19" screen ones that weigh a lot.

this is a $1700 laptop and the deal is from my friend who got two laptops one for his b day and one for christmas
