Network a drive with Bitlocker ON

I seem to be having a small issue mapping a network drive for the entire house. I have a external hard drive installed on my PC which is running Vista Ultimate with Bitlocker turned on on the PC's hard drive C:, but not on the external drive. Everybody in the house can map their PC to the networked drive, however when they go to access the newly mapped drive they all receive an access denied error. This happens on both XP Home, Professional, and Vista Ultimate editions of Windows. When I go to modify the security for the drive I can change it like I normally would for any other network drive setup, but it still seems to not fix the issue. I'm sure bitlocker is somehow blocking access from the other PC's because this happened after I enabled bitlocker. As far as firewall issues being possible I have totally disabled it with no success. I can access the mapped drive from my PC as well as any other drives throughout the house, but no one can access any of the drives on my PC. My question is, is bitlocker blocking them and if so what could I do, if any, to fix this issue? Right now anything would be helpful for my keyboard is getting tired of being smashed.
