13k with SLI'd 8800GTX's is a worry, you need to change some settings I think.

OC'd 8800GT's are hitting that by themselves nearly.

I got 12001 with c2d e6600@3.0ghz hd2900xt oc to 860 core, 999 mem. Better than some with 8800 gtx's! :D :D :D

I'm afraid to OC my 2900Pro.... I don't know if my PSU could cope...

 

A 100mhz OC on my CPU resulted in 300ish more points, it upped my score in all areas(First one listed)

No link as i had the 3DMark06 hanging bug, I had to use -nosysteminfo to get it to run and it wouldn't let me upload the scores
(and shamefully i must admit i had to use something i found online to get it to show me my scores offline but fortunately i was able to go back to the free version now that i found the hotfix)

Yes , HD2900XT does very well in 3DMARK06

Really? I wasn't sure, but after checking out similar setups (same GPU, CPU didn't matter) on Futuremark.com, I noticed that most people running 2 8600 GT's are breaking 10K.

What's the reason for lack of performance increase if you SLI two 8600GT's?
