Dear All;

I have updated the BIOS flash of my note book; then the bios updated gave me "successfully BIOS update message"; after that the notebook hangs and did not respond to any thing.

after a while i turned it off then it did not turned on again; and the notebook does not respond to the power button.

can you help me please asap

How did you update the BIOS?With a floppy disk or using the Asus Update Utility in Windows?

I know the Asus update utility has been known to cause problems when flashing the BIOS with desktop motherboards.In their forums they actually warn people not to use the Asus Update Utility in Windows as this may cause your computer to become unusable due to corruption of the BIOS caused by the Windows Update Utility.I don't know if your problem is related but it definately sounds like it.In case your BIOS is corrupted you'll have to get them to send you a new BIOS otherwise your computer will not work.Check your notebook manual and see if there is some way you can reset the BIOS.It might help.Good luck.

hi

thanks a lot for you reply; i make contact with ASUS company and found that the problem was as you described to me; i asked them for the bios and i hope they will solve my problem.
