So basically, I'm trying to connect my tv to my computer, I've done this before using composite/s-video and had no problem, but I'm trying to run component now and I'm fairly certain I set everything up correctly and I get no picture when using component. Now I would just say screw it and use s-video, but the s-video on my tv is broken so that's a no go, and composite looks awful(blurry)

When I connect it via composite it automatically recognizes it in the nVidia display manager and also when I start the machine my bios and the windows loading screen show up on the tv as well, when I connect it with component it recognizes it as an hdtv in the display manager but doesn't anything. When I connected it via component I changed it to 480i of course.

I'm using a PNY GeForce 6600, nVidia component video dongle, and an acer 2017 on the DVI port and a 480i SDTV.

More specifically, I have a philips 27" tv, it supports only 480i and not progressive of any form.

Any ideas why this won't work? The only thing I could come up with is that the card doesn't support DVI and Component video simultaneously but idk why it wouldn't:S This isn't really that big of an issue because I will be hooking it up to an HD projector in the near future but I'd like to use my tv to the fullest now.

EDIT

I tried using VGA on the LCD and comonent on the tv still no luck
