Hi,
I have a Linksys WAG54GS Router with Speedbooster[Whatever That Is], and have connected a XP Desktop Comp using a Linksys WUSB54GSC USB Adapter With Again Speed booster, on a USB Extension lead and I can only Get Connectivity as GOOD to LOW, doesnt matter where I put It,Bothe are wireles G.
Would a PCI Wireless Internet Card, Improve the range, Or do I have to go Wireless N, or Even N1.

Generally received wisom is that PCI cards offer better performance .

BUT -- there's probably a lot you can do to improve reception on your system before you spend money.

Try raising the wireless router above furniture level.

Check the computer's wireless adapter interface for any neighbouring wifi and change channel as far as poss from the strongest neighbour.

Relocate cordless phone base, video sender etc away from computer and router.
