Hi All,

Has anybody ever used a barcode reader with a
BlackBerry. We have 5810, 6210 and 7210 BBs in use here.

Any info would be appreciated.

Many thanks,

Mat, I am looking for a device like that too.

I found one at this website: http://www.itos.es/itos/pr_bcr_l_bb.htm
It works really nicely, we tried the USB connection but it should work with bluetooth too. Read performance is fine.

But it is too big and heavy for my clients needs, maybe its fine for you. Anybody know another brand that produces such readers?

thanks

This is an old thread, so you probably should've created a new one, but here's the products we've worked with;

That last one, infinite peripherals is the one I would recommend for dedicated barcode scanning, I think they also make the product you posted above, although you're showing the rebranded product.

BTW I find it funny your link say 2D barcode support but shows it scanning a 1D barcode and make no mention of 1D support. :heink:
