I am new with VISTA.
I have just installed win vista business edition.

I have an ABIT Airpace installed on my computer and a D-Link D-524 router direct to my DSL modem.
When I am using xp, I am connected to internet without having to set anything ( I am writing this with xp).
But if I use VISTA, I can't be connected to it.
How can I fix this problem?
Please help me on this please.....

Did the drivers install correctly? how does the device manager see the network card?

Right click "my computer" --> Manage --> device manager

Oh ya, email is the heart of work.

Well, since it works fine in XP, you know that your hardware is good... so now it's just a matter of getting your hardware to play nicely with Vista. Assuming the device shows up correctly in the Device Manager, it should be pretty simple...

What have you already done so far to set up on your internet configuration - browser and modem - on the drive that has Vista?

VISTA has recognized my wirelesscard and detected a network nearby, but it won't connect to it. It says " Connecting time takes longer than usual..................disconnected"

The card has 2 operating mocule mode. AP mode and access point mode, I don't know exactly what they are but I have tried to switch 'em around, but nothing seems to be working.

I don't use any user ID or password on my router, so it used to be so easyto connect to it since it is without any protection.
