Hi all,
i completed building my new pc and i forgot to buy a wireless pci card, so i went to PC World here in London and i bought a Belkin one. To be precise this one http://catalog.belkin.com/IWCatPro [...] _Id=141055
Now, i have Vista64 Home Premium, so i plugged the card inside my PCI slot and i installed the drivers that can be found online depending on the version of the card (my version is 7). This the url of the drivers http://www.belkin.com/uk/support/a [...] 164&scid=0
The card is recognised, i can connect to my home network but i have a lot of problems. First of all i lose connection a lot of times, it seems to me that this happens when i transfer big files maybe, and second i am really slow surfing the web. The microsoft utility for networking shows a signal changing from weak to good every 0.000000006 seconds but that's silly because my router (Zyxel Prestige 660HW T1) is really near.
I tried to look on some forums and people is saying to use different drivers from different manifacturers, i tried even those but it's always the same thing. Someone can help me please? I'll really appreciate that.
Try resetting the router to the factory settings, should be a button on the back, and be sure to have the factory default log on and password. Then set up the network
